Fountainebleau High School Renovations
St. Tammany Parish School Board
$2,000,000 Restoration and Waterproofing project of repairing conditions to the interior and exterior of the campus
200,000 sf school reached 25 years of age and was in need of many renovations and repairs, including masonry restoration and repair, metal roof replacement and special coatings, joint sealants and water repellants. Areas of severe efflorescence were gently cleaned by powder blasting with baking soda, a process that preserves the original brick material and removes primarily the foreign particles, and does not damage the masonry surfaces. The project was completed in two Phases in order to allow the campus to function uninterrupted.
